Company History

Anthonio Szabó[4] (President and CEO) and his wife, Pamela Szabó[5] (Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer), founded Stone Bond Technologies, L.P. in 2002.

Mr. Szabó, a former executive at Exxon and Petróleos de Venezuela,[6] has a background that includes petroleum marketing, trading, risk management, the power industry and the development, sales and marketing of highly specialized software for the petroleum and petrochemicals industries. He remains a recognized expert in the petroleum industry and is quoted frequently[7] in media outlets such as Bloomberg,[8][9] The New York Times [10] and USA Today.[11] Mr. Szabó holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston.

Ms. Szabó holds a BS, summa cum laude, in Computer Science from the University of Houston. She has worked as a consultant to Shell's Houston-based research centers, FMC, General Dynamics, and Seiko Instruments, U.S.A in a variety of software development-related roles. She was also Vice President of Bonner and Moore Management Science. The founder and former President of Migration Technologies Corporation (a predecessor of SBT), Ms. Szabó has been the guiding hand in the development of all releases of SBT’s Enterprise Enabler, including the current one. Ms. Szabo (and others) hold U.S. patent #7,065,746[12] with covers a process for managing data integration integrity.

Products

SBT’s principal product, Enterprise Enabler, is enterprise-class data virtualization and integration software for application in such broad industry segments such as manufacturing,[13] financial services,[14] government[15] and energy.[16][17] The latest version of Enterprise Enabler is release 7.0 (September 2010).

A specialized version of Enterprise Enabler, called EE-LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), was launched in 2004. EE-LIMS is targeted to the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. In 2006, the LIMS software achieved GeneChip-compatible status[18] with the Affymetrix Inc. GeneChip microarray platform. SBT launched an SaaS version of EE-LIMS, called MicroLIMS, in February 2009.

Enterprise Enabler is a .NET-based design[19] and configuration software that is used to customize what SBT calls an “AppComm”. The AppComm is a metadata-driven element used to control and execute communication, mapping and integration of data from multiple sources. Following is a list[20] of standard and advanced AppComms.
